As Taiwan’s population continues to age, osteoarthritis has become an increasing burden on patients’ mobility and quality of life, leading to a growing demand for effective treatments. To improve patient well-being, YC Biotech Co., Ltd. is launching an innovative clinical study focused on knee osteoarthritis treatment. The study is planned to be conducted at the Department of Orthopedics, Shuang Ho Hospital, Ministry of Health and Welfare, which is part of the Taipei Medical University Healthcare System. Clinical data collection is set to begin in the first quarter of this year and will continue for one year. The study will evaluate the therapeutic potential of Osteoexo Filler, an innovative injectable treatment for osteoarthritis.
This prospective study will focus on assessing the safety and clinical effectiveness of Osteoexo Filler in patients with knee osteoarthritis. Leveraging Shuang Ho Hospital’s extensive clinical experience in orthopedics, YC Biotech has begun establishing a comprehensive data collection and analysis system to thoroughly evaluate the treatment potential of Osteoexo Filler.
With the rising demand for osteoarthritis treatments, this study aims to provide patients with more diverse therapeutic options.
